It is only when I am alone that mosquitoes bite me. Actually, I am their last preference. I have read that mosquitoes are selective when it comes to the blood group that they are after. Wonder then why they come to me when I am alone as my blood group does not appeal to them. What is your experience?
Which blood group attracts mosquitos?

Taking precautions is the way to go. We have our precuations too. Fans drive them away and so do those coils. We have nets as well. I like your fly traps They must be adding decor to your surroundings

Mosquitoes always seem to like biting me, so I stay inside during the hours they are out and about. I have heard that the color of your clothing has something to do with who they go after and who they don't, but I do not know if that is true. There are sprays to repel them, but I don't like putting chemicals on my body.

@allknowing The clothing thing was about light colored vs dark clothes. One attracts and the other repels.

Unfortunately I know even too well that they love my blood group! When my husband is with me, they never bite him.

@allknowing I remember that a friend asked to my husband if mosquitoes used to bite him. He answered: "yes until I got married" and added "now they bite my wife".

Well, I am exactly opposite. They prefer me a lot. I have a A+ blood group . Whether I am alone or in a group, have experience mosquito bites plenty. I am yet to see a situation where I am not preferred and others near me are more preferred. I have read about this article but not fully sure on things. We need to analyse them in country context as well. Thanks for sharing!
