Well, that was nice. I got .56 cents for using my pp debit card this week. I have never made that much before. If I could do that every week it would be a couple of extra bucks per month. I love the PP debit card. It is so convenient. I really love to use it when I can instead of my regular bank debit card. I like to keep the bank money right where it is. Of course I do use it when I need to..but for general expenses I much prefer using PP when I can. Do you have a PP debit card?

I don't have a paypal debit card, but on my TD debit card, I have it set up so that every transaction kicks $2 into my TFSA savings account. I like that, but I do have to increase the amount one of these days, it is set a bit lower than I'd like it to be.

They pay you 2.00 for every transaction?? IF so that is awesome. We have TD bank here. I wonder if it is the same one..or is that some special perk you get for working for them?

@snowy22315 Well, they do not pay me, I pay myself. So every transaction is rounded up $2 from my checking account, and the extra goes into my TFSA. I am paying myself to use my debit card. But on a good note, between that and the pre-authorized transfer that I have that goes across every month I always have a balance in that account and never have had to deposit into it. They should have Simple Savings in the US, they mimic our bank here, so it would only depend on the banking laws of the US if it is allowed or now. That is really the only difference.

I am not sure if PP Debit Card is available here. I can check this - I only have the PP App for my online earnings.

I used to have that, but no longer use it. Besides, you can't get cash back from using that as far as I know.

I don’t have a debit card of any kind. It sounds like you have one that would come in handy.

@snowy22315 I pay with a credit card, earn the cash back rewards, and then pay off the full balance of the credit card at the end of the month. No balance is carried over, so no interest. I probably use $40 in cash a month.

@AmbiePam Yes, that is a very smart way to use credit cards..and once I get my balance down low enough I will probably do that too. I don't have much in the way of credit card debt and some cards are totatally paid off..but I still owe about 900.00 spread over a few different cards. Not a lot, but more than I could pay off every month.

Yes, it does. How do you pay for things then? You don''t write checks do you? Do you actually pay with cash?

We have similar cards here. The best points I get are on a Credit Card by Flipkart and Axis combine (Flipkart India is majorly owned by Walmart) and by Amex. Yet Amex cards do not work in each shop due to some regulatory constraints. Debit Cards also provide reward points per 100 units or 500 units of currency spent. The rewards vary from bank to bank. Yet most Debit Card reward systems provide for buying something based on points. I prefer credit cards with cashback for that purpose, although one has to be more careful not to overuse credit cards.

Cash back just for buying things you normally buy is a great deal.

@snowy22315 The cashback amount varies from one type of item to another. It is also on Petrol (Gas) filing and it helps. Some products are however excluded.

@snowy22315 Yes often card companies make us feel attracted towards spending more on our cards. So one has to be careful.

It is a debit card you can order from PP. You just use it with your PP balance. If mylot is your only earning site though, it probably wouldn't be worth it to have one.

I don't have a PayPal debit card. We have a debit card that we probably will be getting rid of because we don't use it. Have a good week.

PP debit card to me is wonderful. I pay for everything I can with it. Anytime I go to the store or get gas it is my go to.
