Marks manipulation is not new in Indian Universities

Recently the Gawhati University was in the news for Mark sheet manipulation. The culprits were arrested but in most Indian Universities such things are even done by the faculties, especially when they have their children studying there. No doubt most professors have their children taking up teaching as their profession, especially in colleges which are under the university in which these faculties teach. The entire education system needs improvement.

That's a same. I think all education systems could use improvement, regardless of country of origin.

@aninditasen Having been an educator, I think American schools were better without federal unions. Local and state unions were better.

Every country should have some outside force to control this.

It's a sad reality indeed but there has to be some commission set up to control such corrupt activities.

We can't trust the education system anymore in India. There has to be some stringent laws from them.

Marks manipulation is a sad reality in Indian universities. But what happened in the NEET 2024 is most unfortunate. Paper leak in exchange of huge sum of money, exam center fixing and unprecedented inflation of marks speak volumes of the rot that has seeped into the examination system.

Corruption has seeped into the whole education system since long. The whole education system needs to be viewed with a hawk's eye and firm steps taken.
