How fast a garden will grow when you go away for a few days? When I left St Catharines on Saturday morning, it was raining and coolish and my garden seemed to be sleeping. I come back Tuesday (after working all three days on a friend's garden) and everything in my garden is a foot taller and the raspberries are falling off the canes! Everything except the zucchini... still just one tiny leaf barely above ground.

Your garden looks very neat. And yes, it's amazing how much plants (and weeds) can grow when we turn our backs for a day or two.

Wow that looks amazing! Things are slow here, as we are having such cool cloudy but dry weather. Leafy vegetables are doing OK, but tomatoes and squashes are very slow.
