FIRM and Frozen Tofu

Philippines

I took this picture yesterday, Im preparing to cook our lunch and mom told me to cook the tofu . We love tofu specially if its dipped in vinegar mixed with soysauce ,garlic and onions and some salt. The tofu that Im cutting in the picture is frozen and its I think much easy to cut tofu frozen because its not breaking. I plan to deep fry the tofu for a crunchy feel when you bite. And it will get a lot tastier if you dip it with the sauce miixture I mention above. Friends and fellow Lotters is tofu available in your country? If yes, how do you cook and eat it?

Yes, tofu is available here and I use it sometimes in my cooking. Most Indian households use paneer( cottage cheese). But those looking for a vegan or more healthy options, go for tofu. It is replacing paneer in many of the traditional paneer dishes. We also make tofu the way you have mentioned. Enjoy your lunch.

@iKONICNoona Thank you. Indian food preparation uses a lot of spices and herbs. If you have a tolerance for that, you might like it. Anyways, you can always control the spice levels. Do you have any Indian restaurant or food outlets there?
