I have had for quite awhile a TCL Roku TV, that I like and had mounted on the wall , it was great, except it is only has a 32 inch screen. My mother has a Vizio TV that she totally loves! I looked for a larger TV that I could afford and found a Vizio that I bought and had delivered. One of my son's came over and took the other TV down and put the new one up. Of course I kept the TCL in my bedroom on the dresser. The Vizio worked good, but I still liked the TCL better! A couple of years later we moved and I did the same thing, had the Vizio mounted in the living room and the TCl on the dresser in my bedroom. The Vizio a lot of times takes a very long time to turn on after I have even turned it on with the power button! Then it will finally come on and it takes a long time to get the channel to stay on or even the power. My daughter wanted to get a TV for her room and for some reason bought a Vizio. It does the same thing the one in the living room does. When we move I will buy a new TCL for my room and replace the one in the living room with a TCL. What kind of TV do you have and prefer?

I have a fire TV. I have a Vizio that needs a remote for the bedroom. It is good to know your mother loves it.

Obviously she has an older one and it works better. Your Fire TV doesn't have a remote?

We have had several brands they the years but currently we have an Element in the LR. My husband has a smart TV in the bedroom he uses as a study but I don't know the brand.

@dfollin it might not be as common as some but the store where we mostly shop carries that brand and it's worked fine.

I have a TCL Roku t.v. in the living room, our bedroom has an old Samsung, and I forget what the one in the pod has. The living room gets the most use since George's stroke because that's where he spends most of his time when he's not outside.

I have a Samsung. LG introduced their Internet DLNA TV a year earlier than Samsung released theirs (2007 and 2006, respectively). But, I am not a fan of LG.

We have Sony TVs and really love them. I used to have a Panasonic; but they don't make TVs anymore. Have a safe and happy 4th.
