Would you be for or against the bill that the National Popular Vote be used to elect the President of the United States? This would enable the elections to make the electoral vote equal the popular vote. How do you feel about this important issue? More information:

The reason we have the electoral college is to make elections FAIR, and I think that's the most important consideration. Essentially, the electoral college already uses the popular vote in that the way a candidate wins the delegates in each state is by winning the popular vote in each state. If a presidential candidate wins a state by popular vote, he or she wins the delegates. States are not all the same size. And so, some states would pose automatic wins. All a candidate would have to do is win California, Florida, Texas, maybe Nevada and Arizona and probably New York and they'd win every time leaving the other 44 states pretty much irrelevant. MOST of the time he who wins the electoral votes also wins the popular vote. There have only been 5 times in history where a candidate won the electoral college but did not win the popular vote, so it's not like it's a broken system at all. It does not need any fixes.
