I didn't have any plans anyway and now it's raining, but still hot!. We needed the rain but that are the forthcoming wind have kind of ruined any ones plans for fireworks now.
Therefore I was hoping to watch the streaming of the live Disneyworld fireworks on TV but it's raining there too last I heard. I saw the firework for the 4th of July there in 2012 and they were the best fireworks that I ever saw!
So what are your plans? Is it raining there?

I was at Epcot last year for 5th of July, and it was pouring down rain almost the entire day. But thankfully, the rain stopped right before 9pm and so Epcot was able to do their fireworks show. It was the most intense fireworks show I've ever seen. Even everyone around us was commenting that their fireworks were never like that. It was like they were doing the finale right from the start, and it lasted for a good 25-30 minutes. I swear there was some kind of malfunction and they accidentally set off all the fireworks at once. Yes, it was that intense. It was the craziest fireworks show I've ever seen. And the funny thing is, as we were leaving Epcot at 9:30, Magic Kingdom just to the north started shooting their fireworks, so we basically got to see 2 fireworks shows in one night.
This year, nothing at all planned. I'm just going to relax at home and hope all the idiots aren't out blowing stuff up until 3:00 in the morning, since I have to get up early for work tomorrow.

@dfollin My favorite Disney World fireworks show is their New Year's Eve fireworks. Not only is it a very intense fireworks display, but it is also a 360-degree display, as they shoot fireworks from multiple locations all around the theme park and resort area.

@moffittjc That's the way they were at Magic Kingdom on July 4, 2012. They were in front of us, both sides of us and behind us........ everywhere! I was amazed!

I was supposed to go see my husband; but I think I still have my UTI. We had a lot of rain come through; but I think we stayed dry. Have a good day and weekend.

I usually watch the late telecast of fireworks all over the country. Somewhere it should be dry.

I would be a little worried if Australia was shooting off fireworks on July 4th. Actually, I’d be impressed that you were celebrating our American Independence holiday!

I think it is supposed to rain very early tomorrow morning, although a few hours ago it was plain old dark. My dad’s family met at their annual family reunion (lasts three days), but it is too hot for me. I’m just enjoying marathons of TV shows that cable is airing.

Rainfall is unpredictable. it's cloudy but no rain falls. Dark cloud is not always a sign of rain.

Glad the rain came. Well, it was a small relief. I had a relaxed 4th July and well enjoyed time indoors. Finished few pending things. There was slight drizzled but not great enough! Hope you had a relaxed and better 4th July. Thanks for sharing!
