July 4th and some US Presidents

I was unaware of this. Three of the US Presidents died on the 4th of July. Two on the very same day in 1826 Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the USA and John Adams the second USA president died. July 4, 1826 was also the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence! In 1831 the fifth president James Monroe died on July 4th at the age of 73 in New York at his son-in-laws house. President Monroe was born in Monroe Hall in Virginia. President Jefferson was born in Goochland, Virginia and died at his home in Monticello in the same state at the age of 83 The oldest of the three, James Adams was the oldest of them to pass at the age of 90. He was born and died in different cities in Massachusetts. Did you know this?

I didn't know it either and the best class I had was History. I always did great in history, especially the history of Virginia.

@dfollin I lived in Italy, so we mainly studied European History, not a lot of American history.

@LadyDuck We studied both American and World History. I paid attention but more to history of Virginia.

I saw that last night when I was actually was surfing for something else, lol I am surprised that I didn't know it because history was my biggest subject in school. You have a good weekend too.
