Hello everyone. It's offically July 5th in my corrner of the U.S. Some of my neighbors are still popping stuff off, but not as frequently as a few hours ago. As you know, I missed the professional show I'd see at the beach, but it wasn't so bad. Today was like a flashback of home. Growing up, I loived near enough to the fireworks display, that I'd go out in the drivwa and watch them. Here, no such luck. I lived to far to really see anything. The neighbors would do their thing and I would hear and smell, but never really see anything. This year I was treated to a show. Every few fireworks I'd see something. Some of it felt like it'd land on our roof, or hit the side of the house. But, it was still a fun watch. So, I say good night from here.

It i8s really annoying when you can hear and smell them but not see anything - all the disadvantages but none of the benefits!

I remember when I was young I loved to see the fireworks and it's sound. But as I grow old, I don't like it anymore because it is too noisy

Doesn't bother me. I enjoy it because I can still see it.

The fireworks went nonstop from about 9 pm to 11 pm. It seemed like everyone was setting them off. Have a good day and weekend.

Our neighbors started at like 6 PM. The sun didn't set until 8:30.

Yes. I am surprised the neighbor app isn't blowing up with 'gunshots'.

@kaylachan I imagine that could set off gunshot detectors.

@porwest Yeah. Here people shoot them off on and off throughout the year and when it's not expecteded, someone's screaming 'gunshot'.
