It just did not rain but pour - I mean problems

There was a cat fight outside early in the morning. Efforts were made to chase them - one was Peppie and the other was the tom cat that had fathered Billus' kittens.
Both of them rushed inside and that is when Billu became a tigress attacking them both. The tom cat was chased away but Billu continued attacking Peppie.
Peppie and Billu have always been friends and now I had a problem in my hands. I fed Peppie and Billu separately and sent Pappie away.
I am not sure what will happen when Peppie returns.
Hope Billu remembers Peppie as her best friend and forget the incident. Peppie is too docile and has never hurt anyone.

Billu should get the vibes that being with Peppie is safe for her babies. He would just peep there every day and do nothing else. Peppie is a docile cat and harms none.

@LadyDuck I kept Peppie out the whole of yesterday He followed me in the garden to get inside but I did not let him. My heart broke to do that but it helped as when he came this morning Billu kissed him right on his lips (lol)

@ifa225 I cannot do that with Billu and her kittens as they cannot be shifted but Peppie is already out and he is used to staying away anyway

I do not think neither the tom cat nor peppie ever had intentions to attack her kittens. It is just that they were screaming at each other and Billu totally misunderstood what was going on. Now I have sent Peppie out and by tomorrow hopefully things will get back to normal

That's a difficult situation. When two friendly cats start fighting it's very difficult to handle them.
