Alexandria Virginia police officers named Hiltz and Reilly answered an emergency call from a family on Monday Jine 10 just after midnight when a mother gave birth to a baby boy who stopped breathing after he was born inside of an apartment.
Officer Hiltz began to use CPR on the infant while his partner Officer Reilly did his part to keep the family of the newborn calm.
The infant began to cry after two rounds of CPR to the delight of the parents of the infant and the police officers.
Both the mom and her baby were taken to the local hospital to stay at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a few days before they were allowed to return home.
The child is named Luis IV even though the name of his parents were not released to the public.
Both officers have become friends with the family of Luis IV.

That must be the scariest thing that could happen to a new mom and dad.

Thank God those police officers knew what to do, However, I think the parents should not have risked having the baby at home,
