Well, I can add to this discussion. I met a man on a dating site, but was also recommended to me by a friend who lives in Los Angeles. I live in Israel, he lives in Austrailia. He is willing to come to Israel to meet me in person, so we can see if we are compatible. He will come for two weeks. I think that he cares.

Australia is so far away and it is a very expensive plane flight. I don't know if I can commit to such a long distance relationship.
