Personally it feels like energy is getting drained when you experienced with the same person again. Out of curtesy you will ended up listening and expecting something that will be progressing but it turn out opposite when you start cross checking their actions... It was only all talks with no actions.  Will it be good idea to ignore  and stop lending your ears to them ?  Expectation will be the real enemy I would say.

Those who talk too much rarely act. They are usually lazy.

@psanasangma Yes, actions can be seen and when they don't match the words, the person is fake.

I think that psychological mischievousness can be the very most unsettling.

Sorry! Sometimes its me, but it is because sometimes it is hard to accomplish something that is why I tend to do something else than what I have promised to do for a day. But in other scenarios, yeah its hard to deal with people who only promise and keep on promising but they don't have intention to do it, and it is very painful when you hope for it but the person do not have any concern about it or how do I feel. Its really sad and painful and yes exhausting.

i agree with you. if they surprise us in a good way, that would be so expected. i permit this behaviour only to my parents but i don't enjoy it, i get hurt every time yet, they won't change their old ways. i distance myself.

Since you know there is only talk and no walk you should not take that talk seriously

Well, you got to ask the right questions. If the person is only capable of just talk and no work, it is better to avoid. There is no value even to listening to them . If the person is capable of talk and work, it makes sense to listen to them as you got to learn from them. I have stopped bothering on what people tell, whether it is praise, criticism or anything else until I feel there is substance in the person. It has helped me so far. Thanks for sharing!

The reason why we should stop listening and learn to improve ourself so that we can move 10X better then before.
