Billu is driving me nuts.

It is normal for mother cats to shift their kittens from one location to the other . Billu has done that too but you will be surprised to know where she has shifted her kittens. She has chosen my 'favourite corner' where I spend some me time . Normally they take their kittens away and hide them. This is the area where guests are entertained. I do not know how to handle this. As you can see in the photo I have used cushions to protect them. One minute at a time - not one day at a time (lol)

Billu thought that as the place was perfect for you, it's perfect for her and the kittens.

Well, it seems Billu has claimed your favorite corner for her little ones! Guess she's decided it's the purr-fect spot for a family gathering. Those kittens sure know how to pick prime real estate! Enjoy entertaining your unexpected guests. They might just steal the show!

It's not that funny please Billu will run away if she sees guests. Cats are very uncomfortable with strangers. And then I have the issue of them messing up the couch I cannot even lift them as touching them until lthey are old enough is another restriction.

@allknowing Hopefully, Billu and her kittens settle in without too much fuss. Maybe they'll get used to their new surroundings soon. Hang in there!

I have had one of the cats in my spot on the couch before. I tried to sit with him, but he wouldn't.

I faced the same problem when I had cats. They all left one by one and don't come as I have a dog.

@allknowing Yes, cats are more of an independent type and like natural environment.

Billu knows where you usually are. She feels safe when you are around and that's probably why Billu brought her kittens to your usual spot. She may have thought that her kittens will be safe because you are also there for them. Billu is really affectionate towards you.

She probably feels comforted by your scent or something. Who knows about cats? They are all a bit strange.
