I stopped Fish keeping for a while

Aquarium, NO fish
Philippines
July 8, 2024 5:37am CST
During my time medicating my dog, I just snapped and stopped feeding my fish. I got lazy though but I was able to sell off most of the plants. You know I ordered online for more (aqua plants), and it was only a few when I got the package. Then I harvest again for the last batch, before handsome (dog) wrecks it again like last time The truth is that I'm just going to remove the soil. Put sands again. They keep dying all the time.. Maybe it's my fault I lack water change but still they just don't last long.

Managing pets and plants can be quite a juggle sometimes! It sounds like you've had your hands full. Simplifying with sand sounds like a smart move. Have you found any tips or tricks that work well for you in keeping your aquarium balanced?

@Letranknight2015 I totally get it, managing pets and plants is a lot of work! Simplifying things with sand sounds like a practical decision. I'm sure it helps cut down on maintenance. Have you thought about trying low-maintenance plants or even some hardy fish species that are easier to care for? Sometimes small changes can make a big difference. Don't give up! You've got this!

@annierose Plants are okay, they grow by themselves and the ones i have grow so fast. I can't say the same for the guppies, must be something wrong with the water.

if you will try again, Try to have female fighting fish and make a betta fish sorority, (only male fighting fish are aggressive) female bettas have less maintenance than goldfish and carp and they can survive blackouts.

So you have two pets to look after; dog and fish... Seems you need to give attention to fish now

Half of the habitat were tubs and barrels were still occupied with fish. @psanasangma but couldn't feed them twice a day, just the dogs.
