Land Title Transfer in Progress

I am nearing the final stages of processing the land title. I have settled the capital gains tax, documentary stamp tax, transfer clearance, and transfer tax. Last week, I visited the Registry of Deeds to submit the Electronic Certificate Authorizing Registration (eCAR) as proof of payment for all required taxes for the title transfer. I've completed all necessary requirements at the Registry of Deeds, and they have scheduled my next visit for next month. Since classes will have started by then, I'll go after my classes. Once I receive the title in my name, I'll request a certified true copy to submit to the Assessor's Office. From what I've been told, this is the final step in transferring the land title. While it's typically a 4-month process, mine has taken nearly 2 months and is progressing smoothly. Have you had a similar experience with transferring property titles, and how did it compare to your expectations?
