There are definitely qualities that define you and your personality . There are some who also yearn for certain qualities. However, people would recognize you for one or two characteristics .Perhaps those qualities define you, your life and your principles. I strive for honesty, and I would never be happy with myself, if I was not always honest.
Yes, our character is moulded by our various gifts, ways of thinking, and behaving, and our various traits, and nature, and the characteristics, that make us up.
