Turmoil in Mobile Service World

People in general were feeling that mobile service was getting too heavy on common man's pocket. It was already quite costly to buy a package of 28 days, 56 days or 84 days. Recently the service providers like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone raised the prices of those packages about 15 percent to 25 percent. This was rather too much of a burden for most mobile or cellphone users. These services providers are private companies. Meanwhile, public sector provider BSNL ( government owned ) , which was in poor shape with almost two decades of neglect, decided to offer its services at much cheaper rates. This was something of godsend for the millions of mobile users of not so well off class. In the last few days thousands of people have decided to port their SIMS to BSNL. I will be one among them as soon as I find where I can do it. Can you offer some ideas about it?

I can't really comment except to say that most people would find it hard to function nowadays without a mobile phone. It's almost become a must-have.
