My weekends change; Busy Sunday...

Good afternoon from this side of the planet . It's 4:45 PM here. It's been cloudy throughout the day with sun peeping out a few times for few minutes. We had rain throughout the night and we woke up to a beautiful cold morning with dew drops on lavishly green trees and plants . Back home, I worked on two other sites after lunch. I took a nap for 30 minutes and then had one therapy session of 45 minutes. The other one starts in another 15 minutes. And as I wait for the child to come, I will write this post . My Sundays have got pretty busy. Actually, it doesn't feel like a weekend at all. I have joined this online course for six months to get a deeper understanding of education and more of it in light of Anthroposophy. Most of it is online and for few sessions, I will need to go to a physical set up. It will be towards the end of the course in November end and December. And it would culminate with a three day and four nights stay together in a resort with all the participants from the 13 countries and also all the mentors from these countries. One will get the certificate after a written exam for four hours there and a presentation for 1 hour. We need to write and submit few assignments each week till then. So, things are hectic for Sunday. And after lunch, I have to do an hour webinar on every alternate Sunday for our school parents. That is called PEP ( Parent Education Program). These two things started from 1st June and for a month, I had only Saturday off. Glad that my principal could sense that. She has understood it well and given me Fridays off for the week when we have PEP. And on the other two Fridays of the month, I just have to go for weekly preparation and a teacher meeting at the end of the day. So, there would be no rush. The teacher meeting is at 2:30 after school hours. I can reach the work place around 1:30 after my lunch and finish weekly preparation and the meeting. So, it would be two hours in the afternoon. Thanks to the Principal for understanding the situation and coming up with this schedule. Employees health matters to good leader. That's all' for the update and blabbering. Have a good time in your myLot corner. Stay happy and healthy. I will meet you in the notifications now.

A very busy schedule that is. Still managing time for Home & websites is good! Here, many days are cloudy but apart from 1 or 2 days, it has not rained significantly. May be it could rain more towards September as the rain patterns have seen a big change in the recent years. We had Audit and Client Visits so had to go office more regularly. It would be good to complete the course on time. The Four days away tour would be a good learning experience for you. I have a self paced learning course but that takes time due to office and home commitments. Have a nice Friday ahead !!

@arunima25 Your mentor seems to have a keen sense of motivating people with smooth talk! But well, the mentor (he or she, whoever) seems to be excellent as well. Anyways, there are always good & bad to everything, even rains !

It's hectic. But as my mentor says that only busy people find time to do other things . That's how he convinced me to take this course that is quite demanding too. But then I am enjoying it It's raining. I am in the Airport shuttle bus. Going to drop my elder daughter to airport. Well, 45 days of holidays are over. It's raining everywhere. Well, it does bring relief from the heat. But then the woes of flooded roads, bad traffic and floods are going to be the headlines for next few weeks. I hope that you are enjoying the course. Self paced ones come with convenience but also few drawbacks. It's tough to stay motivated and on time. Hope that you keep motivating yourself and do it.

Thank you. I kept postponing it for some time thinking that it might get me too busy. Now with my girls getting independent and moving out of home, I thought that let's do it. I am not getting younger any more . My principal is a wonderful lady..She is reasonable and considerate for others. I love working with her. She is very passionate too and open to suggestions and learning. Take care

@Marilynda1225 Yes, that's what I thought. And I have to do it now to be able to use it for another fifteen years that I might work. Well, I don't plan to retire early.

Thank you Jidy. I kept postponing it for some time thinking that it might get me too busy. Now with my girls getting independent and moving out of home, I thought that let's do it. I am not getting younger any more . I am staying focused on the goal to finish it and do my best. I am actually enjoying it a lot. The classes are interactive and we get a lot to learn from other educators. And the homework that we get is pretty interesting too.. we have to think out of the box and be creative as an educator. I am already benefitting a lot in both personal and professional ways. Take care

@JudyEv I totally agree. I have at least 15 more years of work and I can use the knowledge there. I don't plan to retire any soon.. Now that my girls are pretty independent, I have got time to do that.
