I actually feel cool air this evening!

It was warm but not hot today. As my bed beckons to me, I actually feel slightly cool air on my feet. I think it will dip into the lower 60s F tonight. Have you experienced the heatwave that has gripped much of California for the past few days? I think we had more than five days straight of temperatures above 100 F here in suburban Pleasant Hill CA. Today, I don't even think we hit 95. I will check. Tomorrow. I am tired. How is the weather where you are? Photo is from a hike on Mt. Diablo.

Today was hot and humid as usual. However, we got a decent refreshing rain that was much needed.

Talking of the heatwaves, we had a big heatwave for almost a month! Many decades ' record broken. Now the rains have started and are testing the outdated drainage systems in some places. At some places, widespread flooding of the roads even led to a few deaths! I wish you too get good rains after terrific heat. By the way, do the authorities in California constantly monitoring and upgrading the drainage systems?

Sounds perfect! My plants are looking happy right now. But I've been watering them twice a day. No help from mother nature.

Yesterday, it got to 35°C which is about 95, I think. I find that brutally hot if out in the open. But not too hard to deal with it as I don't have to work out in it.

We were supposed to get heavy rain from Beryl; but so far we only have a few drops. NW Ohio got the brunt of it. Just checked the radar. There is a tail that hangs down. If that passes over us we should get a good soaking. Have a good day.
