You know what's unpopular? Giving trillions of dollars to rich people. You know what else is irresistibly popular? Reducing the retirement age? From 64 to 60, in France. The NPF - a coalition put together just before the elections which include the socialists, the ecologists, the communists and the radical France Unbowed party, is also promising to put a a block on the price of essential goods and get a 14 percent increase in the minimum wage. The Conservatives promised to do the opposite of all that, so they lost. Marion Anne Perrine "Marine" Le Pen even proudly announced that she is just like Putin and Trump, AKA she wanted nothing for ordinary people.
