Double Birthday Day

Happy Wednesday Everyone! you're probably tired of me saying how hot it is here. Well, I'm going to whine again today. Yup, it's HOT and overcast. Possible thunderstorms but they said that yesterday and we only got a sprinkling of rain. Nothing to help the poor brown grass.
Aside from the weather, today is my son and my granddaughters birthday. I'll call my son later to wish him a Happy Birthday and will be going over to my daughters tonight for cake for my granddaughter.
I have a grocery order coming this afternoon so that I have everything I need while my daughter is on vacation. I'm pretty sure I have everything but at least home delivery is convenient if I find that I need anything else.
She'll be leaving on Friday and will be gone for a week.
Nothing much going on here today. Just the usual and that's fine.

It's been a busy week with my daughter bogged down at work and trying to pack and get ready to leave Friday morning. I've been making sure I'm not going to need anything while she's gone since my older daughter and family are all going too. It will just be me and the pup for a week.

Not too much, I wrote about it. I did manage to fall off my new treadmill yesterday. Luckily I did not get hurt. I don't even know how it happened. I was bending over to turn it off and lost my balance I guess.

I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Falling off the treadmill could easily have resulted in some serious injuries

I hope that they each enjoyed their birthdays, and I wish them a happy year ahead of them.
We had the leftovers of hurricane Beryl in our regions while we were gone.
It was just a storm with alot of rain in winds by the time that it reached us.
We were spared from it being up on Lake Superior.

It's overcast here and we might get a shower or two later. I bought some baby wool yesterday and might make some more prem baby beanies. It's something to do while I'm watching TV.
