Is this something to do with lunch?

I am habituating with a sleepy mood after lunch. Thankfully, I am at home, so I am able to nap. The sleepiness and heaviness of my eyes are unbearable, which leads me to bed every time. No matter how I tried to do some other activities, my earlier routine was to have brunch around 8 a.m., no lunch; tea and snacks only, and dinner around 6-7 p.m., but I slightly changed my routine and tried to have my lunch around 12–1 p.m. I am actually not liking it that it makes me nap for an hour or sometimes hours. I hope it will not continue like this.

@psanasangma I see what you mean.
Nowadays though, I consider sleep a luxury.

If it is as warm there as it is here I could sure understand why you feel like napping. It is 103 F here today and will be 106 by 5p. It is like an oven in my room.

@psanasangma I'm sorry that is happening. Though sleep can feel really nice and relaxing to lay in bed all comfy, it's not a nice feeling when you have things to do but too tired to do them. I am like this often and I hate it. It stops me from being productive. I hope soon you won't be experiencing this anymore!

It is perhaps of a heavy/moderate lunch. Try to have a little lunch and see. Plus , ensure to walk and be active post lunch and that should keep you awake. Try to avoid the habit of afternoon nap as it may imapct your night sleep. May not happen immediate but perhaps in long run. I keep myself busy with things and thus been able toa void the bed till night. However, if i am extremely tired or sick, I perhaps do have a nap though not willingly. Thanks for sharing!

I think it is normal, they really said that when you eat it makes you sleepy, that is why others advice not to eat too much so you won't get sleepy.
