Hello lovely MyLotters!
I haven't been on for just a little bit lately due to still not being well. Though lots of tests confirm I am actually quite healthy, I've still be unwell and dealing with ups and downs with my moods.
The latest is, and sorry if it's too much info but we are all adults here....right?
I have been having "female issues." Since November when this sickness and bullsh*t started, my "monthly friend" became pretty much non-existent.
It was happening once every 3 months but even then it was like nothing and then it actually did become nothing. I had a pelvic ultrasound back in February to look for PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) but that all came back fine.
But my doctor is still wondering if it is still PCOS from what I've been experiencing or not experiencing if you get what I mean!
When I last saw my doctor she took some swabs down there (Pap Smear) which I need to go back to her to get results. But on 5th July, I got my "monthly friend" in a way I have never experienced in my life. Let's just say it's literally been "draining" to the point I need to keep washing pants! It's been so bad!
I've been so sick, so sore in the stomach and absolutely exhausted. Which I assume is from blood loss. I am not sure if maybe things are just trying to go back to normal? My Nanny reckons things might be. Besides my doctor, she is the only woman I have to talk to. Even then I don't always. I wish I had more females to chat too.
I also started an Antidepressant last month. That was a bit difficult at the start but I think my body is used to it now. But overall, I'm still not feeling the best. When I first started taking the tablets, my moods became quite mellow and I seemed unbothered by anything that used to bother me, but lately I've been getting bothered again and feeling sad here and there with unknown reasons.
Everything here is what I will tell my doctor too of course. But just wanted to say hello, give and update and spend some time here.
I really hope you are all doing well!

@TheHorse Thank you. I really appreciate that a lot because I am really hoping so too! It's been way too long now where I haven't felt right. Just want it to stop and be how I was before all of this.

@VivaLaDani13 I hope you start to feel better as soon as they figure out what's going on. Some degree of "predictability" and controllability" is good for feeling non-stressed and happier as well. Sending healing thoughts.

Oh Dani, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through all of those issues. I haven't talked to you in so long, and now to hear that you've been going through so much negative stuff with your body and moods and stuff that it just makes me sad. I really hope your doctor is able to help you find answers and solutions. Please don't withhold any information, as information you think may be trivial may be the one piece of information that can lead to answers. And don't feel embarrassed to tell your doctor everything, trust me they've heard and seen it all before.
I will be praying for you and thinking about you.

Hi Dani! I truly hope they find the root of the problem and can help you treat whatever is going on. I've had friends with various female issues - it's hard because sometimes these things are not conclusive with tests. I do think heavy stress/anxiety does have an effect - have felt that in myself as well. Glad to see you back and hope you keep coming back more often again .

Oh! That would be terrible. I hope that the doctor is able to find out and give you the right treatment. I had a bad run with endometriosis in the last 15 years and many a times, this monthly visitor is nasty with the pain and excessive blood loss. And now I am in my late 40s and menopausal issues have set in.
Keep yourself hydrated and take enough iron supplements in your diet. That's the least we can do to catch up with the blood loss.
Take care.
