Heatwave Has Been Brutal

This heatwave has been brutal well over a week of temperatures topping 100 degrees (F), without much relief in site thankfully the Church now has Solar and we've been told to leave the a.c on at a temperature that's comfortable to us, and I believe the Faith Hall has been opened as a cooling station!
Now I'm at the Church doing a little weeding at the library because some of the books have been here for decades without a single checkout! But it's cool in here so I'm certainly not complaining!

@Michellekidwell Yeah. But it's not like it's an anamoly is what I am saying. The hottest days on record on the planet happened long ago. I can't remember the years, but I remember an article and I think it was sometime in the 1800s. If I can find it, I'll post it.

It has been very hot in a lot of places..Fortunately, we have only hit the hundred mark with the heat index. We are down to a balmy 89 right now..

I am glad your curch got solar. I'm loving ours. It's been a game changer for us. I can understand heat. I'm glad you have a place to stay cool.

My house is cool too thankfully I have a.c but had to go in and turn on the a.c in our library as well as weed out some books that aren't getting used...

Well, the heatwave has made issues everywhere . It is tough going out. We need to stay indoors and as much as possible near to air conditioner. Drinking a huge load of water and less appettite . I do not see any immediate respite and worse no World Leaders wants to address these . Climate change is for real and we have to do something real quick! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yes i get it, and I have the ability to stay indoors with airconditioninh unfortunately thats not true for everyone...
