10 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 78 and feels like it too. There's a nice breeze.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for the nice day. I know I don't have anything to do with the weather, but it's nice it doesn't feel too hot with the breeze out there.
I'm thankful I got my steps today when I finished the notifications earlier. I took a different route when I got past the pond. I thought it would give me more steps. It didn't. Though I did get all my steps by the time I got back to the complex.
I'm thankful for the work I did on In the Hands of Mighty Men. I have the current change started, so I know I'll get it taken care of when I get back to it.
I'm thankful for Bible study today. We talked about the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree.
I'm thankful for spending time with you today. It's the most enjoyable part of my day because I get to spend it with you in your world.
Okay, that's my day. I have prayer upstairs in a short while and then I'll work out on the foot cycle and watch television.

I am thankful for the rain we got today. I'm thankful that today's trip to Pet Smart went well. Gorge did amazing. He seems to do real well when we grocery shop or go to doctor's offices.

I am thankful that although grocery prices are high, we still can afford a variety of tasty foods. I like my fresh produce.

I am thankful that today around 2:30 p.m. today the Walmart Vision Center called and told me both pairs of my new glasses came in today, and my sister's glasses came in too. we were told they wouldn't be in until July 16. but they came in a few days early! I can barely see so I am ecstatic I am getting my new glasses early! hip hip hooray!

@just4him I had texted my sister, and before that, she already wrote me that we were going for our glasses tomorrow! The reason she knew they came in was she had a prescription for glasses in her car. When she saw how reasonable of a price I was paying for two pairs, she asked if they let a person use prescriptions from other doctors. They do, so she bought a pair of designer glasses and we both are thrilled that we are getting our glasses tomorrow! Hip hip hooray!

What we do in a day's time may or may not give us everything we set out for
but as long as you got something out of the day is better than nothing at all.
I'm thankful we spent 5 hrs today in the cabin working on getting the 2 doors
back up & some of the trimming done tomorrow if all goes good the plan is to
get the rest of the flashing done around the basin B-4 we start the new walls.
I'm really thankful that the ceiling is Done in the Big part of the cabin to where
all we have left is the kitchen part of the ceiling (1 row left) that needs done.
