The grass

With all the rain last week the grass is tall, and we have dew that causes it to stay wet clear up until noon, just about. After lunch we were able to go get Bob's little Capri. I mowed and did yard work from about 10 a.m. til 12:30. When I got back home I slept for two hours. Lunch was good, but I wanted a snack. I tried to be healthy, mixed sunflower seeds into peanut butter with molasses. We will have a cold supper of pea salad, fruit, and potato salad. Bob made cheese burgers at noon and wanted sauerkraut with his. Would you believe I found three open jars of kraut in my fridge? I was able to condense it to two. We eat some kind of fruit with every meal just about. I have a prescription to pick up, so tomorrow we will go early to Newton to do that and shop some. Summer, now that the vacation is over, is not really exciting. It is time to concentrate again on getting stuff done. I washed Bob's heated throw, and his bathmats, so that is a freshen up. He will not need the throw until winter. There is always laundry and there are always dishes. Glad we can have both, we have it better than many people in the world.
