Working on two speaker projects at once. Dang, another hot day coming!

I am working on a pair of Dynaco A-40XLs right now, as well as a pair of Acoustic Research AT-LST-2s. Both pairs will look really nice when done. I hope to send both pairs home before I head up to Montana for a week in late July. It's only 7:30 AM as I type, and it already feels hot at my desk. No cool breeze on my feel. I'll have to see what the predicted high temperature is today. My guess is about 108 F. Yesterday, it snuck (actually sneaked, I gather) up to 105 F in the late afternoon. How is your Thursday shaping up? And, of course, how is the weather there? Photo is of the Dynacos: a small stain can weighing down a repaired corner and some random sanding on a scratched up bottom.

How hot did it get? I just checked. It's supposed to hit about 42 C here today.

@TheHorse Not a good sign at all ! It must be a deviation from historical patterns?

@TheHorse Our morning thunderstorm was pretty scary. I even turned off the refrigerator until the lightnings stopped. Now at least it's cooler.

@TheHorse A sudden power cut may damage the refrigerator if it's starting when the power cut happens. It happened to us years ago, so I turned it off just to be safe. I also did not turn on the computers.

@LadyDuck How did turning of the fridge help? I have never done that.

That looks like a lot of skilled repair work and Finishing for the two varieties of Speakers. The week in Montana would be a good break. 108F is not good- very hot. We had those type of temperatures a lot in May and June. Rains have started although not much as expected but the mercury is between a high of 33 to 38 C. Do you use an Air Conditioner at home?

It's hard to believe the hot temperatures you're having. It's worse than our north!
