11 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from warm, sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 83 F.
It's been a good day. I worked on two books: In the Hands of Mighty Men, and Guns of War. I also spent a good couple of hours playing Canasta. Lost both games, but not by much. Still a lot of fun. I also got my steps. I went on the Industrial portion of the trail and have all my steps. I'm exhausted because of the heat. I really should have gone early this morning.
I also played my games. I have two of them now. Both addictive.
I'm sorry I didn't spend much time here today. I tried this morning, but had site trouble.

I am thankful I finished my reading goal for the year. I finished my 111th book today! My goal was for a 100 for the year. I feel like I have worth when I finish a book.

I am thankful for the rain we had this morning. I'm also thankful I got the laundry done even if it was a late start. I'm thankful Chilly seems happy for some reason, too.

I'm thankful that the State came and inspected the rehab facility where my husband is. They gave the kitchen an "F". I think they were generous! lololol Have a good weekend.

One thing, I'm thankful it's not so hot. Thankful I've got a lot done today. Now I'm tired, thankful not anywhere to go. Time for nap. Enjoy your day.

It was horribly hot here the past few days and I didn't even venture outside of the house. Even the dog didn't want to go out.
Glad you got to work on your books and had fun playing Canasta. I can get lost playing games too
