My Neighbor Is Gone

United States

Today, as I visited one of my friends, she bought to my attention that my neighbor was in jail. The one I let use my battery charger. As you recall he had just bought a new car, and changed jobs. I've been noticing his car being home at the time he was due at work. Didn't think much about, as covid had hit our area. My neighbor showed me his picture on her phone. I feel sorry for him, because he is being held for another state. Now he's gonna lose everything. He was from Michigan. Sometimes we think we have problems.

That's sad to hear.. I hope what happens to him be a lesson for him. We might not know the reason why was he being held, but I know he'll soon regret the things he did to get on the state here he is now

@popciclecold Did he rob someone and spend the money on a new car? Or defraud his employer and then get a new job?

@Fleura I don't know. But his car has been there for 2 evenings, I thought he might be sick, covid in our area. But I learned today he's in jail.

That is a bit sad. Did he give back your battery charger before he got arrested? I hope so.

Even if he is guilty of crimes it is good to be compassionate towards him. Yes, we may have problems, but not like he does.

@popciclecold May be nothing really serious. Often those who commit horrible crimes are those who do not end up in jail.

Surely some of his problems must be of his own making if he's in jail!
