The Flintstone House is in Hillsborough, California. It is a Freeform dome style and has been a local icons for drivers passing by for decades. It looks like a house from the Flintstones. It had fallen into disrepair until the new owner made repairs, and also added dinosaur decorations. Recently, the house had been scheduled to host a pop up sushi restaurant with a Michelin star chef, and reservations sold out in minutes. However, the event was abruptly cancelled due to restaurants not being allowed in single family residential areas. But it was a fun idea.

Weird, if it was a restaurant before it had to have a license.

@LadyDuck I’m pretty sure it wasn’t. Have you heard of it before?

That is a shame they weren't able to hold that event. You'd think someone would have checked into it, knowing if they would be able to do it, before getting the chef and word out.

I thought it was odd myself. I have certainly heard of events with private dining. To me, it seems similar to having a dinner party.

Yes, they probably assumed it would be fine.
