Happy Saturday Everyone! the storms we were supposed to get yesterday didn't happen, but we did get rain overnight. Now it looks like the sun is trying to come out. This is morning number one with my daughter away on vacation. She is usually up about an hour before me every day and has the coffee ready when I get up and the dog has already been out. This morning I had to make the coffee, wait for it to perk and take the dog out. What a bummer

Last night I had a chance to chat and catch up with my bestie. Her husband is recovering from surgery and this is pretty much the first opportunity we've had to have a long conversation. For weeks they've been running back and forth to doctors and she's pretty much worn out. She's tired and he's grumpy. At some point today I'm going to look for a good movie or a binge-worthy series. Any suggestions? what have you been watching recently?

Here we are, two ladies alone. I've grown tired of it after almost 6 months. Sorry you've had to take over the coffee and dog duties. I'm glad you got to chat with your BFF. I'm re-watching Lost for the 3rd or 4th time...then I will be re-watching The Office. Two of my favorite series other than Friends. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I enjoyed Lost back when it was on tv and had to wait every week for the next episode. The Office is not a show I ever watched. I've heard so many things about it that I really should give it a try. I don't know how you've managed to be alone for 6 months. I'm only on my 4th day and I've already had enough.

@Marilynda1225 I don't know how I managed because I HATE being alone. If something happened to my husband, God forbid, I would want to marry again; but at my age and weight, I don't see that happening!!!

I know what it's like to be going back and forth to doctors. Luckily Vince rarely, if ever, gets grumpy - but sometimes I do!

I have STARZ and recently watched an old TV series called 'Centennial', I thought it was really good. Now I'm watching 'The White Princess', it's about the aftermath of the war of the roses, it's not exact as far as history is concerned but it's close.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks, it was without a doubt, the very best vacation we have ever taken. We had so much fun and saw so much beautiful scenery, and I even saw my first moose. They are really a pretty colour, they don't look at all like their picture on our quarters.
