Slow News Day (MyLot Exclusive #1643)

Before I left for Paris this afternoon. I stopped by The "Hooterview Word Guardian" and discovered that this was a very slow news day. Slow but sad. Because Dr. Ruth and Richard Simmons both died.
Also, a retired old rapist from Florida who is currently out on bail was shot in Pennsylvania. He wasn't hurt because he was hit just above his right ear.
To quote the doctor who treated him, "If he had a brain, he'd not only be dangerous, he'd be dead."
And that's it. Except for some rare and exciting developments on the Comics Page. The Sarge was really mad at Beetle Bailey. And my friend, Dagwood, ate a really big sandwich and fell asleep on the couch.

I didn't leave Paris. Bastille Day is my favorite French holiday.

@xander6464 I always loved Bastille Day. Very little has been written in the newspapers yesterday about Bastille Day. All media were covering Trump event.

The video talks about lack of physical activity in many schools for the school kids.
I think this should be an important issue in many Indian schools as well.
Some do pay attention, others don't.
Sometimes it is good to have slower paced days after days of fast paced an hectic news and other activities.
Dagwood is an interesting name.
Did he grew up in certain forest areas?

I hated gym class. It was just an annoyance. I wish it hadn't existed when I was in school.
Dagwood is an interesting name. I think it might be Swedish.
