how can a bullied victim assassinate Trump?

Philippines

Actually some of the shooters way back were bullied victims or already had psychological problems since childhood that they desperately want attention.. I just don't get why he targeted the Presidential candidate. there's got to be more than just being remembered, something's not right. And why is the secret service did not bother to cover up the roof? he almost got trump by the ear. He should use his skills to have his bullies killed instead.

Has it been established that he was bullied as a kid? I had not seen that.

@TheHorse Yeah, I had to look that up and found this, where bullying is mentioned.

@sabtraversa AR-15s are not sport rifles. They are assault rifles, designed for warfare. Maybe his father was a crazed Democrat, out to get Trump. The kid was just a kid. With an AR-15.

I have seen it mentioned in several chats and news articles. Not everyone who registers Republican has Republican ideas and values.

Sounds like the background of the average school shooter, but Thomas was done with school. I'm not sure killing the bullies would have been much better though. Maybe he still wanted to be accepted by his peers, and was also likely willing to die.

@akalinus No wonder the father didn't want to speak to officials, mourning aside.

@TheHorse The rifle belonged to his father. I saw mentions of officials finding explosives in his house. That report did not mention the type of explosives found.

Maybe he was really unhappy with his life and wanted to take out the "ultimate bully." But we'll still have to learn about how much he'd read about Trump, and why an AR-15 was in his house.

@Letranknight2015 Maybe the kid was aiming at the one he actually killed. Anybody think of that?

@TheHorse So is every country I know. Only now it seems that climate change has turned too many places into jungles and plains.

@marguicha Heh. I will do my best to survive. Until I see myself as not useful any more. I am on the fence about climate change. Of course it is real. But how much are humans to blame? I have some good discussions with my Conservative Montana friend about that subject.

The United States is like a civilized society with large jungles and dangerous plains.

I am not sure I would advocate murder in any way. Kill the others? WHAT???

Well, we would never know @porwest those people could have run during the assasination, but somehow they didn't. or probably just they couldn't get out. Sadly, everyone's different, not all comes out strong after being bullied.

We agree there. Murder is unacceptable. I wasn't bullied much as a kid. But I have been wronged in my life. I do not have "murderous" thoughts toward those who have wronged me.

@TheHorse Being bullied builds character. It's also just a normal part of life. The difference is we were stronger once and we got over it. Now we duck and cower in fear and...shoot people.

Sometimes you don't know what's going on inside another's head. Life is far more complex.

I agree with you that the only way that a bully victim can get rid of a bully to beat up his or her tormentor instead of attempting to rub out a public figure.

I can't help but feel there's more to this @Deepizzaguy I feel bad for his family though. Loosing their child and be remembered as an assasin.

Anyone who would do such a thing is mentally unstable or cold-blooded killer. According to classmates he had a hatred for Trump and politicians in general. But I think it's really hard to figure out what is really inside a disturbed person's head. As far as the protection for the former president, I'm sure our current administration will do everything possible to cover up the ineptitude of the secret service and local law enforcement.
