Beautiful Scenery

Last week on our drive up north, we drove through some stunningly beautiful areas of our province.
The roads were actually built after the rock was cut away for the roads. This is part of the Canadian Shield, and very little grows on rock. Some scrub trees and not alot more.
But very beautiful to look at from the highway, what do you think?

@kobesbuddy We did as well.
We kind of inherited alot of them.
Friends of ours collected alot of them when they were younger.
They gave them to us.
We used them to line the flower bed alongside the driveway as well as the beds in front of the house.

@Juliaacv sort of like when I lived in NY the highway to the country the Catskill Mountains had rock and cliffs along the way and also forests. I always enjoyed that. Then returning to the city when you got close to NYC it was like Emerald City popping up after all that nature

Amazing how they construct roads and all that goes into that. I am watching a young man on YouTube who is a junk picker. He lives in Pennsylvania. I enjoy the show but I also enjoy the background. He goes down these country lanes that are just beautiful. Trees on either side and just lovely areas.

@Juliaacv .......That reminds me of an area in the Redwoods. Those trees are so huge and some canopied the road. At one point we broke out into an area where there was a pasture full of deer. It was so cool at dusk.

I always enjoy seeing scenery in its natural state. Ma Nature knew what she was doing.
