I Have A Question

My question to those who do surveys, do you cash out when you get to the suggested 5.00 dollar mark or do you keep going. I had someone tell me once as soon as they reach payout, they cash out. I figured I'd ask people who are really into it what they do. It may seem like a stupid question but I honestly want to know. Thanks in advance. Just heard thunder looks like storms are coming again. You all take care.

I used surveys as a part-time job, for about three years. The minute I reached payout(25 sites) I would cash out. At one point, I was earning $300 a month. Something I could do from home, without maintaining a car.

You were excellent in that field. Maintaining a car is expensive, so that was great. Good job.

@TheHorse I was doing surveys every day, for hours. It was a good part-time income.

I would never go more that $25 at SB as they have a history of deactivating people randomly.

I guess it depends on how much you trust the site, but I usually try to cash out ASAP. I had a thing last night where the site said I had a certain cash balance and this AM it said something else..say what?? I was going to question that..but then like happened one other time the money was mysteriously put back in.

Wow, that is something, in that case I don't blame you. Happy the money appeared back in your account. Thank you.

@TheHorse Yes, Prolific has expanded too rapidly and has been having growing pains. That is what greed will get you. I hope things will level off though..and it should as long as they quit signing up new people. They say that is what killed Mturk.

I only do surveys once in a while at neobux. There you can cash out when you reach $10. But I usually wait more.

I've heard of Neobux years ago. Had no idea they were still in operation. Thank you.

@TheHorse They say they last from 10 to 15 minutes. It usually take longer when I do it. I have the tendency to read the questions, think the answer and only then do it. People don´t do that usually even when they are talking with friends now.

With Prolific I cash out every time I reach $20 even though the minimum is $6. With Pinecone Research, if you are a member, I would suggest that you cash out EVERY time you reach minimum. When I reached a certain age, they closed out my account; and I couldn't redeem the $$ I had built up; and they wouldn't answer my queries. BTW, if you're not registered with Prolific, I would highly recommend them. You might have to put yourself on the waiting list; but it's worth it. Have a good day.

Not all of them can cash out at $5 but whatever it takes, unless there is some advantage to waiting, like reduced points for higher cashouts, I cash at their minimum. Some sites have been known to deactivate people for no apparent reason. I do not want to lose my precious points or cash. I go for Amazon or PayPal. If you make over $600 in PayPal in a year you have to pay taxes, or at least report it.

It depends if I need the additional cash, If I have two sites with $5 I will cash out but sometimes I add all week to a site and see if I can cash out more than 5. When I can get gift cards I add a card to Amazon and then wait until I get more gift cards before I use any,

@popciclecold I bet I have more than $20 there now. Wheee! When I cash out, I have them toss it into my PayPal account.

The one survey I do that pays in Amazon gift cards, I let it build up, so I can cash it in for a $50 gift card. Usually takes me about 6 months.

@popciclecold No, will check it out. I use only my computer. The only apps I use on the phone is my Health Ins., WinnDixie, which doesn't really work, and Walmart. Nothing else.

On SB I always wait to get to $25. With Microsoft rewards my first redemption was for $10. Didn’t know I can do lower but think I will stick to ten for my second one. Another site I’m on I think I used to wait till month was over to cash out and didn’t wait to reach a specific amount, aside from the minimum.

Surveys are not always available, therefore its a bit of waiting game at this stage. I would probably keep going, to make a worth while withdrawal.
