I don't know what I was thinking like 2 years ago. Instead of just buying a hibiscus plant I purchased seeds and planted them. Well no flowers on year 1. Last year I wound up with 2 blooms. This year I have 6 flower buds on my plant this year.
I literally know nothing about hibiscus. I cut back stems that looked like they were dying last year. Yeah those stems are still dead but there is new growth and now with those precious flower buds. Oh well. Live and learn. I will be happy when the flowers bloom.

It's nice to see your own grown flowers blooming and beautifying your surrounding.
At home, my mother loves planting hibiscus everywhere, in front of the house, near the well, and as a fencing

The flowers can be turned into iced tea. Boil them with a stick of cinamon until the water is red, then add sugar/honey and Lemon juice.

I'm glad they're ready to bloom. I know nothing about the plant either.
