It's Wednesday morning, and I am cooking up some eggs and bacon. @Just4Him, did I really need a comma there? Lessons went well at Guitar Center. I got another student (she's about 10) started on Fur Elise, by Beethoven. It is a good "early classical" piece. I am surprised I never learned it as a kid. The Durt Cheap gig is tomorrow night. I will be on crutches, but my knee is getting a bit better every day. I am icing it as I write. I have not yet gone down my Trump wormhole this morning. If you have any new information about the shooter kid, feel free to provide it. Dang it. My yoke (or is it "yolk"?) broke. But I am still enjoying my eggs, bacon, and coffee. I will write about my frustrating two hours on hold yesterday morning in another post. How is your Wednesday shaping up? Photo is of San Francisco from near the Bay Bridge.

Yes, you need a comma there. Did you misspell 'Dirt' on purpose? I'm glad you have a new student at Guitar Center. Have fun with her. It's yolk. What am I, your editor now? I hope you had a great day.

I'm just a toddler craving attention. Durt Cheap is the name of the band.

@just4him Never underestimate a horse. We are good with words. And we listen more than we speak.

Yeah, he was apparently a very smart kid.

@anya12adwi About the kid? Only that they found out (from his phone, I think) that he was interested in when the Trump speech was happening, when some Democratic event was happening, and that he was interested in some black justice, as well as maybe even the British Royal family, or something like that. I infer (though I could be wrong) that he wanted to shoot somebody famous and go out in a blaze of dark glory.

@TheHorse Do you have more news?

I think information about the shooter had already been shown in the news. Maybe there's really not much into it except that he was bullied.

I predict that MAGA people will claim that this kid was actually not a "conservative" because he apparently donated $15 to a "Liberal" cause when he was 17 or so. We shall see.

My opinion about your first sentence is that it is a run on sentence. Leave out the word and. State "I am cooking....." But that's me. My Wednesday has not been fun.

@TheHorse Thanks. Obligations are done now so I can sit and think what I want to do next. Very restless night so that adds on the other stuff

Doesn't the Bible talk about "yolks " a lot? Wait. Maybe it was "yokes." Or maybe I have had my first shot of Scotch.

@JudyEv (Trying to think of a Bible quote with the word "yolk" in it.)

It's yolk. Good luck with the Durt Cheap gig today. Wednesday was the appeal hearing. I'm glad that's over with. Have a good day.

@TheHorse The judge will decide after July 29. We have until then to send my husband's records from May 11 to the present.

With using the comma you don't need the word AND in there. Sorry your YOLK broke

Wrongie! That sentence is fine as is. Without the "and," it would be bad grammar. Or sentence structure. Or something.

My hot and humid Wednesday has gone by with the AC and fan blowing on me, I am eating in bits and drabs today because nothing but my ice cream sandwiches seem good in this heat but my cats on the other hand keep eating like cowboys at a BBQ
