When Plans Don't Go As Expected

Maybe sometimes your plans don’t work out because God knows that they might not be what's best for you. Our plans may not always align with what we want, but there might be a better purpose or opportunity intended for us. In these moments, it’s good to remember that God might have a different plan that is more beneficial for our well-being. How do you handle changes in your plans that seem to go against what you want?

Plans are always changeable. I hope and then leave everything in God's hands.

Hi Valerie! That's a wonderful perspective. Trusting in God’s plan can be comforting, even when things don’t go as we expect.

I don't handle them well. I am tired and even exhausted. I just accept that many things go against what I want.

It’s definitely tough when things don’t go as planned, especially when you’re feeling exhausted. Sometimes accepting the situation is the best we can do, and that’s okay.

I don't rely on religion to make decisions. Instead, I focus on what I wanted to do, what did not happen, and try to examine why it didn't happen so that I can make changes to either the plan, or the strategy. Too often people rely too much on God, and the way I see it, He isn't going to do anything for you. Instead, He will give you the wisdom to do it on your own. Don't sit down and wait for something to happen. Get up and make it happen. Just my two cents.

@porwest I completely understand your approach. Examining what didn’t work and making adjustments is a proactive way to handle setbacks. It’s all about finding that balance between taking action and having a bit of faith in the process. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
