She Just Appeared

In National Guard this 32 year old woman just appeared. You know how military just lends people sometimes. My brain is foggy but think that is how she got there. The next thing you know my platoon, sergeant, not even sure what Army calls it. She a women too, for context I am a former Marine and none of this would happen in Marines. You would get in big trouble. We reservists now and she comes in This so and so, she from so and so company. She says she prefers sleeping in the men's tent. We doing our 2 week deployment thing that reserves do. Does anyone object? After the puddles of drool faded, no, no we do not object at all. It was actually very fun and neat how all the men tried to be respectful of her. Her and I would get pretty close, but did not think that close. After the deployment was done and back in the freedom America created she just showed up in my room. What the hell, I never told her my address, someone must have helped her. I was not mad, we had more fun but she did have 5 kids and I am a 23 year old single male. Needless to say, it did not last long. She forced her way in my life expecting what? She would become a trainwreck and like I say, was 23, not ready for these big adult things I never had no part creating. She chews me out in National Guard parking lot in her car with her kid in the back. I just said one simple thing, you never asked if I even wanted this? You just kept forcing your way with the help of someone apparently. That was the last I saw her. Sergeant had transferred her in a heart beat praying I would not cause problems for her. No issues with her, just being a human, but that is why Marines do not allow such things, wink wink. Never spoken about but I did always find it neat how military could just correct mistakes as fast as they made them. Sounds cold, probably is cold but how military has to be so they can still go do their real job. One of the reasons my other friend and I love this song. There is no age like 23, been a adult for a couple of years but still act like you 16. True for guys anyway.

@kobesbuddy I hope it still is, 23 was an an amazing time. World so hard now, I still hope 23 year olds get that experience of just being young and dumb and so free. There is nothing like it in this world.
