I Quit Swagbucks Today

I did it. I quit Swagbucks for better or worse. I have been thinking about it for years but decided to finally do it. There are many reasons. I won't go into them because others can decide for themselves. I feel free. I will miss some of it and hope I won't regret my decision. Did you ever quit a site you have been on for years? Did you find anything better? Were you glad you quit or were you sad?

I've quit 2 sites, I don't miss the waste of time trying to get those elusive points I used to get good results mostly from both of those. As for swag, I will hang in there with them a little longer but I only do the poll and free games so I get 7 points a day.

All of them take a long time these days

It takes a long time to cash out with anything with so few points. I will miss the games, I loved two of the free ones.

@rebelann also do the daily Trivia every day. Another 3 points usually.10 if you can get all questions right. Then a few more pennies on the live Trivia Monday to Friday . So, 10 to 30¢ per day. I don't worry about making my goal.

I did quit mylot for several years and Crowdtap. Crowdtap the second time was pretty good, but now they are bad again. Mylot is kind of depressing in a way because so many have left, but I still enjoy it. It relaxes me.

@akalinus They seem to be good before they get sick of you. I would say you might be taking your chances if you use it

I have been absent from myLot for long periods and always come back to it. I do miss some of the users who quit but sometimes see them on other sites and am glad to know they are okay.

I quit Swagbucks for about two years when I was getting denied points for surveys they said I completed. I got sick of it. About four months ago I started back, and the money from surveys has actually been good. However, I understand having frustration given they prompted me to give up for a long while.

@akalinus I didn’t do offers. They were always terrible.

@AmbiePam they looked good but hardly ever paid me. That has been frustrating to me for years.

Maybe they are under new ownership or something. I don't like that they play favorites. Some people get good offers. I always got the leftovers.

I just go with what makes me miserable. I do not have many happy places but like local bar used to love it, so fun. Then it became why am I still coming here and think every one noticed. Now I rarely go there but when I do its kind of fun again. The bartender last time took a picture of us so she could send to her mom because mom is still a bartender there but it reminded me of the fun we used to have. Never mind this post, I thought you meant starbucks. lol This is funny.

@akalinus No place like home, so safe and warm. Probably should not say warm in summer but it is what it is. A persons castle should always be happy.

@crossbones27 This is a quiet and serene place most of the time. You can't ask for anything better.

I am sure Starbucks is on the Swag site somewhere. I hope you find other happy places.

I made money but only pennies a day. My friend says I sit there all day doing Swag things and how much an hour are you making? She makes hundreds every day. I make $1 on a really great day.

I quit them a LONG time ago, cause it wasn't worth my time to stay on line all day when I had other things I could be doing & it wasn't long after that found My lot in it's place.

I found myLot after Yahoo Voices went under. I was so shocked when it folded. I thought it would always be there. I made money there. A friend told me about myLot, the best tip I ever got.

@akalinus I'm no writer & when I found my-lot online I thought I'd give it a shot & after a few weeks of learning the ropes, it's been the best place I like to be.

I have been "quiet quitting" them and their sister sites for a couple of years now. I do not get bent out of shape about goals or get up at 3 in the morning for certain things. If I get points, good, if not then I go do surveys somewhere that will pay me. So I am still there, sort of. I had site quite me when I turned 70.

It is hard. I think my problem is that I am too old for surveys. Another problem is the viruses and Trojans I pick up doing some of the activities. I have an awful time getting rid of them.

@akalinus Can Swagbucks really give viruses and Trojans? Shouldn't that be illegal? I think I am on Swagbucks but I didn't like anything they wanted me to do on it. did other sites then grew bored of them and now do no sites but myLot.

@akalinus What would have happened had you called that number to get your computer back? It doesn't sound like they give you back your computer that easily, is that true?

I never earned anything with that quiz. I would answer and I guess it was always wrong. So frustrating.

I was going through a period recently on Swaybacks where I was in a real drought, where no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't seem to earn very many SB's. I was giving some serious consideration to quitting and looking elsewhere, but all of a sudden I've been on a huge streak lately. Just this morning I've already earned over 500 SB's. So I guess I will stick with it for a little longer. I guess there is always going to be ups and downs with any site, but I have noticed over the past year or so that I don't earn as many SB's as I used to. Oh well.

It is like a game. Many times, I thought of quitting but they drew me back in with better offers. Then there is another drought and you can't make goal.

@akalinus You're right, it is a game. I think the one thing that helps me in the "game" is the fact that I don't get on the site everyday. I've noticed that if I go 3-4 days in a row of using the site, my SB daily goal shoots up drastically, but if I go a few days without using the site, my SB goal drops back down to reasonable (and attainable) levels.

It used to be a good site but the earnings have diminished drastically. Better to stay away unless you need the pennies every day.

Yes. But many times I was forced to quit. Sometimes I earned 4 cents a week on some sites. I preferred to give up. I was glad to quit because those sites are a waste of time. On other sites, I took long breaks. I quit Forumcoin too because they pay less.

I think it was pointview or something similar. I knew i couldn't make 20 dollars so fast, which was needed to cash-out and i didn't want to spend a year or two being there. i am glad for your decision actually, i support it.

Thank you. Swagbucks is fine for some people. I know some who want to quit but need the money. Everyone can make their own decision.

I spend very little time on SB and earn very little. But I'm not interested in moving on to a different site.
