Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 79 F and getting up to 83 F today. Warmer than yesterday, and feels it too.
Today will be a light day. After yesterday, I need light. I ran the dishwasher and got everything put away from yesterday. I also tried walking. I didn't get far. With 16K+ steps yesterday, my right leg is really sore. So, I'm taking it easy today. I'll get my steps, but not all at once.
So, my plans for today include spending time with you, working on a book, and playing my games. That's it. Unless my son and his girlfriend take me out for my birthday. We'll see. It will be today or tomorrow.

Mammoth is the word that I can conjure up for 16K + .
With that much you could even have flown to Paris if there were to be a "Walk" Marathon!
Anyways, light hearted talk aside, you have a well planned itinerary for Saturday.
I like the roses and the blue colored Cup as well.
My parental home has a similar colored 70s crockery in blue color.
Yet I think it might have been used only for some time and that too long time back.
I hope with proper rest, your leg pain would go away.
And is it 83F plus with or without humidity.
Here the temperature max is around 36 to 37 C.
Yet the little rains on Thursday did not bring that much respite, but the humidity is very high.
It can be very tough outside even during the evening time.
No idea, if the weathermen's forecast of above average rainfall would come true this season!

Some clouds here again. Yet it looks as if they come to play hide & seek.
Or provide us a placebo for time being !!
I sometimes feel if a big cluster of high rises could be reducing the rainfall?
But then again I am guessing because Mumbai has even more high rises but it rains a lot there.
So does that means the Crockery is not in actual use?
Anyways, it looks awesome !!

Yes, it was more steps than I'm used to in one day. The only thing I'm doing is resting, though I have gotten most of my steps now. I have about 1200 steps to go to make my daily goal of 6000 steps.
The crockery is for ornamentation. I'm glad you like the roses.
It's quite hot there. I hope you start getting rain soon.

Your roses are certainly beautiful.
I can almost smell their sweetness from here.
My hubs gave me roses, and he let the girls pick out some flowers to give to me.
Willow chose baby red roses, which I have not seen before.
Harper chose some purply crythansiums, they actually turned the water purple, it is so cool to see.

It's Sunday afternoon here. And I just came out of my online classes ( for the course that I have joined). Had my lunch. I have nothing much to do for the rest of the day and I plan to be online as much as I can without getting too exhausted. I will do some light chores later.

I needed Ibuprofen after my morning walk. At least I have all my steps. Hopefully, it will be back to normal tomorrow.
