Foiled by the weather again

Still trying to make it to the grocery outlet I like. Yesterday, was a fine day but I was tied up with that stupid mystery shop. it has been raining most of the morning here. However, the store is open until 8 PM. I might have a late start, but I should still be able to get there during daylight hours..things are going to clear up in the next hour and a half I think, so I will do my best to take off then. Unfortunately, they are not open on Sunday. When was the last time weather foiled your plans?

I will wash clothes tomorrow. BTW I was just looking at a chocolate bar I bought at the store. It is made by Durrel Lee..and was made in Austrailia. It is a large size bar for .69. Do you know that brand? How much does it cost there? It has nuts, marshmellows and raisins. They don't sell anything like that here.

@JudyEv I will tell you exactly what it is. It is called Rock lea road. and it has marshmellows, coconut and peanuts. I thought I tasted raisins..my bad. I wonder how it found its way way over here, and for such an inexpensive price. Does chocolate expire?

@snowy22315 Darrell Lee is a well-known brand here. If I knew they were Australian-made then I'd forgotten. There is a huge range of products. There is a traditional Road Block which seems to have nuts and marshmallows in it but doesn't mention raisins. There are dozens of products ranging from bars to bullets and balls. The 180g Road Block sells for around $6 which is perhaps $US4 but I'm guessing at the conversion. They are regarded as quite expensive here.

I got bored and was all ready to walk out the door when I noticed it was raining harder..

@just4him I did, I just got home about 20 minutes ago. It is dark now..and wouldn't want to be out there.

That is the worst thing about having a dog..other than their barking bothering people having to get them to potty in the rain Neither you or they want to go out.
