7/21/24 - Update On My Husband

I will call first thing on Monday to try and get a copy of my husband's medical records. I am hoping they can have them ready by Tuesday so our housekeeper can send them Priority Tuesday or Wednesday.
I am still very hopeful that my husband will be coming home in the next couple of weeks. He has done the steps and puts himself into bed on his own. We will have to make several trips to move all his clothes, etc. out of the room.
The PT guys weighed my husband. He lost another 3 pounds. Not good.

@porwest I remember that from the Money Pit. This time it may be for real. The PT guy told my husband he would be going home soon.

This is starting to feel like the contractor in The Money Pit when Hanks asked him how long each job and rework would take. "Two weeks." It was always two weeks but never was actually two weeks. lol

You have to be concerned about his weight. Second, you have to figure out other things like him waking in the middle of the night and having to use the bathroom, Things like that, I suggest you figure it all out and see how he can manage being at home, I wish all the best for you both and many blessings,

Thank you. He will be using the recliner in the living room with me for a while so he's closer to the bathroom. I can try and help him up if he needs it. I'm awake all night anyway. It will be quite an adjustment...there's no doubt about that.

When he comes home we will order pizza and Chinese; and he said that he wants to go out to eat a lot when he comes home.

I'm sorry your husband lost 3 pounds. Maybe he needs extra something like that Ensure Drink. I think it has extra vitamins and calories.
