Actually, friend called me all excited over the news. It was rapidly getting to the point where he just didn't have a choice. I am glad he decided not to ruin his legacy by staying in a race, no one other than maybe his wife and son and a few other stalwarts want him in.

He said back in December 2023 he wouldn’t be running if it weren’t for Trump, which I found and still find an exceptionally arrogant approach (“nobody can beat him but me”) to take. I’m very skeptical about the notion that the Democrats can unify behind someone else this late in the ball game.

Harris has the same polling or slightly better than Biden. She has broad based support from congress already as well as the most populous state California. She will do fine.

His family has been ruthlessly attacked, at every corner. It's no wonder!

I would have voted for him, as he does have the best interests of the US at heart..and to be honest I would vote for just about anyone who's last name isn't Trump1

@kobesbuddy The only Republican I sort of like is our governor. I actually voted for him last time. He isn't one of the crazy ones. Also, Adam Kinzinger(Jan 4 committee) used to be a Republican.

@snowy22315 it’s just that a little while ago things were chaotic, but yeah that happens. Now one guy had an assassination attempt and the other had to withdraw in embarrassment.

Biden has been battered like a dog. Kamala Harris, treated as a bimbo. She is NOT!

I will vote Democratic, regardless of who it is. I don't know how Kamala will do if she is picked to run. Have a good week.

The writing was on the wall . The debate as well as other events did not favour anyway for Biden . Now , with Kamala Harris, there is a chance , Democrats can win against Trump. It would never be easy as US never elected a woman as President . The shooting incident also has added few brownie point for Republicans and there is a wave riding on that. The question now would be can Democrats regroup and put a good fight.Only time can tell!
