Weird News About President Biden

I have just heard that Biden has decided not to run in the 2024 election. He sees that he is losing in the polls and feels this is the best thing for the country so he is not going to run. (Why he feels he is able to run the country now but can't later I don't know.)I hope they find another candidate rather than Kamala Harris. But if Harris is going to run I think that is a mistake. Many people do not like her. I guess there are some things in her past that make people not like her. She has had a lot of experience. So far they are saying Harris will not use the 25th amendment so we will have to see what happens.

The 25th amendment has nothing at all to do with anything here. That deals with presidential succession (the office of). Nothing to do with running for re-election.

I wasn't saying it did. I meant that Harris couldn't put herself into the office of president. She won't do it. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I´m sorry that he waited so long. I think that he should have relied less in polls and more on if he thought that he was capable of doing the job during 4 more years.

I'm not surprised he decided to not run. I think it was just a matter of the right people convincing him it was time to go. Love him or hate him he should just be allowed to play out his role and walk off into the sunset. Nothing will change if he is pushed out right now and I think all sides should understand that. A big fight isn't going to help anyone. I hope they find a real candidate but I'm not holding my breath. Nothing I've seen from Kamala Harris makes me think she's a good choice.
