Yesterday Billu chased Peppie when he was coming closer and today she lifts one of her kittens and keeps it near Peppie up on the kitchen cupboard. There is no proection there. Got the kitten down once and now again she has kept her there but Peppie did not stay there.
Cats are a mystery indeed.
I will now keep all of them in a room and close the door.

Cats sure are full of surprises! It sounds like Billu is trying to figure things out with Peppie and the kittens. Keeping them all in a room with the door closed for now is probably a good idea to keep everyone safe. Hopefully, they'll all settle down soon.

The kitten came down - may be jumped down or fell down. I have written a post on that.

@annierose Everything is calm now She has kept them below the wash basin and that is where she had started. The whole day they have been there.

I think Billu is protecting her kittens from Peppie. My mother once told me that male cats eat kitten.
So it could be the reason why Billu is changing the places several times
