7/22/24 - Update on My Husband

My husband has been able to get from the wheelchair to the bed and the bed to the wheelchair fairly well. He wants to do steps a few more times before he feels comfortable with that. He seems to be waiting for the PT staff to say he's ready to go home; but I doubt they will do that as long as we are paying for the room.
I will be calling first thing this morning to find out how to get my husband's medical records. They'd better not give me a hard time about that.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts.

I hope it goes well. I would be pushing for a home visit at least.. Without that you really have no idea how he will do at home

@LindaOHio Yeah, you just have to make sure everything is in place
cause I remember when they were turning me loose they wanted to
make sure I was able to have some 1 there with me till I got stable
to be on my own & a wheel chail ramp, cause I wasn't strong enough
to get up the steps, that's why I had to move in with my husband.

@2ndchances24 I could maybe start with the Council on Aging. They could probably help me.

Legally they should not give you a hard time, but you and I both know how people can be.

I have an appointment Thursday morning, then I’d be happy to come up there and show the, why ex-postal employees and people named “Karen” have bad reputations.
