7/22/24 - Update on My Husband

My husband has been able to get from the wheelchair to the bed and the bed to the wheelchair fairly well. He wants to do steps a few more times before he feels comfortable with that. He seems to be waiting for the PT staff to say he's ready to go home; but I doubt they will do that as long as we are paying for the room. I will be calling first thing this morning to find out how to get my husband's medical records. They'd better not give me a hard time about that. Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts. Photo Credit: Pixabay

I hope it goes well. I would be pushing for a home visit at least.. Without that you really have no idea how he will do at home

@LindaOHio Yeah, you just have to make sure everything is in place cause I remember when they were turning me loose they wanted to make sure I was able to have some 1 there with me till I got stable to be on my own & a wheel chail ramp, cause I wasn't strong enough to get up the steps, that's why I had to move in with my husband.

@2ndchances24 I could maybe start with the Council on Aging. They could probably help me.

I hope you can get his records, sometimes it's hard to get medical records if it's not for yourself

I have an appointment Thursday morning, then I’d be happy to come up there and show the, why ex-postal employees and people named “Karen” have bad reputations.

I hope that you can continue to encourage him, as I cannot imagine them saying that he is ready to go home since you are literally helping to pay their wages. Hopefully you get good news on the medical records and can get that squared away.
