Kitty brought me a bird this morning.

At maybe 4 AM this morning, Kitty jumped in bed with me and demanded a purr fest. I gave her a good neck and back rub, and she settled in and fell asleep with me for an hour or so. She jumped down at about 5 AM, and I slept well until about 6 AM when I heard the loud peeping of a small bird that was being offered to me. When she dropped it, it fluttered around on my floor, and Kitty caught it again. Finally, I was able to beat her to it, and I picked it up and tossed it out on the balcony. It was able to fly off before Kitty could get to it again. I'll attach my only piano tune, written for a bird I saved after it had flown into a window at Mike's house. Most of you (my MyLot friends) have probably already heard it. Images are by our own @Vandana7.

Wonder if the bird will bring you worms. Evil grin. It was sweet of you to rescue the bird.

@TheHorse Aw.............. But I think Birds have their own bird clinic as do cats and dogs...how else do stray street dogs survive 7 to 10 years here?

Kitties sure love to bring us "treasures" when they are sleeping, don't they? One of my brother's (long since deceased) cats jumped back in through a torn screen and promptly dropped a snake on his belly. My brother is deathly afraid of snakes.

@Chellezhere I will pick up a garter snake now and again. But rattlesnakes scare me.

@TheHorse It truly was! Almost 30 years later, my brother is still grossed out by the though.

Kitty needs something to occupy herself. Maybe a job?

I think Kitty won't have been happy ! Has she organised any protest meet with her fellow felines against you?

Rapist Kitty has not been seen in a long time. Filipino Love Song Kitty only appears about once every two weeks. But I think she still may be in cahoots with the raccoons.

I'm glad you were able to rescue the bird. One of our cats brought a bird into our bedroom once then let it go and we had two cats going up the curtains trying to catch it again.
